CURRENT JOB OPPORTUNITIES:
While we’re not looking to fill any positions at the moment, we’re always keen to meet and learn more about talented, passionate designers, project managers and account managers. Below is an example ‘call for designer’ to help guide how you choose to reach out.
MID-LEVEL AND SENIOR DESIGNER
Applicants should have 2–5 years of creative design experience and be confident in their ability to create ground-up designs that are seen as fresh and progressive. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills with attention to detail, and also have a passion for seeking out fresh illustration, art and motion/video samples for inspiration or use in our projects. Applicants mush have experience creating final vendor-ready files for various project types and be proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
MANDATORIES:
• Share examples of your work that are smart and creative
• Demonstrate proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Eagerness to learn and engage on a wide variety of projects
• Dedication to finishing work with attention to detail, including some ‘production’ work
• Ability to talk about your work, why and how you create what you do
• Be a good person. Bad people suck.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
• Contributing to conceptual, creative creation of brands from the ground up
• Design concepts from sketches through final meticulous execution
• Take design directions others have started and see them to the finish line
• Working with a wide variety of project types, physical and digital
BONUS POINTS
• If you have Squarespace design experience
• If you have hand-lettering experience and samples to share
• If you have illustration experience and samples to share
• If you have working experience at an agency or studio on package design
LOCATION:
The Cargo District of Wilmington, NC: Five minutes to the river, twenty minutes to the beach. After operating remotely during Covid-19, we are now transitioning to working back in the office together. How else could you enjoy all the kombucha and beer we keep on tap?
